The Pulp Fiction soundtrack went out the door with my CD Cleanup. It is now selling for 1 dollar and 1 quarter on Amazon, no doubt due to the fact that everybody around my age bought it, listened to it 1000 times, converted it to mp3, and is now discarding it.
Plus, the soundtrack is SO evocative of the 90s that it’s gotten old (like me, I guess!). I have the music but no real nostalgia for the packaging, so away it went.
In an attempt to outpace the holiday buying season, I’ve posted photos of the nativities I have for sale to Flickr. See gallery below and click any photo to see a larger version:
Hopefully this will help generate traffic to my eBay photo gallery, which is currently pretty low in Google pagerank.
The B-52s Cosmic Thing was one of the CDs I purged from my collection. There are exactly two songs worth listening to on this CD: Love Shack and Roam.
As of this writing it is selling for 10 cents used on Amazon.com. Add about $2 minimum for shipping and it costs $2.10 used – 10 cents more than it would cost to buy the two songs listed above on eBay.
Farewell to thee, B-52s CD. I will endlessly enjoy the songs on my iPod but I’m glad to have the quarter inch of shelf space back.
