Flickr portfolio

April 7, 2007

Now that Flickr allows you to upload illustrations as well as photos, I’ve been adding some of my portfolio pieces to my Flickr set. Links are below – I figured this would be a good way to collect images for an updated Portfolio site of my own.

The key is the ease with which I can update the portfolio.  I’ve learned a few web development techniques in the past four months that should make it easier to create a web portfolio that gives my art the showcase it deserves.

  1. I recognize that state house image… hey, did you happen to take a digital graphic design certificate course and the New England Institute of Art? lol… hey Joe, didn’t know you could now post illustrations. Does that mean you can upload source files (like eps, psd, ai, etc.) for others to download?

  2. Sort of – you can basically post flat images (JPGs, GIFs, etc) and then tag them as “illustration” vs. “photograph.” To my knowledge you can’t upload source files to Flickr (yet!).
